BEING & BECOMING

Self-discovery sessions

Embark on awe walks and mindful-being experiences of everyday activities to more deeply connect with your fuller self. Rekindle your appreciation of how you've come to be, who you are (already) becoming, and where you'd like to grow towards. Be invigorated to live life boldly, or to rest and recuperate generously.

Steep in the gentle strength, calm, and dynamic possibilities that are yours to keep, as you participate in

  • Guided psychosomatic exercises

  • Vision-setting through play

  • Compassionate reflection

Listen to the echoes of all the footsteps you've yet to take. What do they say?

More details coming soon!

These will be covered on this page:

  • Who are Being & Becoming sessions for?

  • What happens in a Being & Becoming session?

  • What is an awe walk or mindful-being small group session?

I'll be updating this page by September when I've finalised more details about an upcoming Being & Becoming group event (which you can join! to be kept in the loop and enjoy the Know Your Voice celebrations offer, sign up here)

For the time being, here is a general overview:

For a Being & Becoming session, we can explore anything related to your experience of life. The way I facilitate these sessions depends on your interests.

Some past people wanted to explore creative blocks, finding more rest amidst busy times, and also being more able to bring their ideas into the world. It could also be using a regular activity like reading a book, drinking a drink, or looking out of the window, and discovering your inner voice, interests, and curiosities from there.

An exercise I like to use is a Simon-Says-like game, that lets you experience the embodiment of your 'yes', 'no', and 'maybe'. From there, you'll learn how to better sense whether you resonate with something, grow your capacity and window of tolerance, and make clearer decisions that you feel good about.

Other activities include sound and movement exploration, touch-facilitated and sensory discovery activities. I will always walk you through an activity before we go into it, to make sure you feel comfortable with it so that you can consciously consent, adapt the activity, or opt out

Also, this isn't therapy so we'd steer clear of more high stress, high anxiety matters. If something you bring up in session seems out of my scope of practice, I'd let you know and also provide any recommendations for your own exploration beyond our session.

If you're curious and have questions, or would like to find out more now, contact me and let's chat! (:
